What Do I Need to Know?

Safety Precautions

The safety of the SERVE 6.8 Team is of highest priority. Please read the extra safety precautions we are taking during this season to keep our teams safe as they serve.

Please do not enter the Resource Center if:

You exhibit any symptoms of sickness
You have recently travelled to high risk areas

You will be asked to follow all safety regulations:

Wash/sanitize hands and wear gloves at all times
Maintain 6ft distance between others
Temperature and waiver required upon entry
Masks required inside

Safety Precautions

Can My Kids Serve?

Yes! We would love to have your children serve alongside you. There are a few guidelines that we must follow in order to ensure the Resource Center stays a safe and welcoming space to everyone.

Any children under the age of 14 must serve alongside a parent or guardian and are only allowed to participate in approved activities. These activities include: sorting/restocking clothing or food, cleaning, packing Christmas toys, etc. Unapproved activities include: moves, construction projects, unloading trucks/pallet organization, anything with heavy lifting or machinery, etc.
Teens between 16 and 18 may serve without a parent, but must have a parent sign a liability waiver on their behalf beforehand.
If you bring your children to serve with you, they must remain by your side and not creating safety issues or interrupt ministries from being operated.

If a parent is unable to follow these guidelines, they will be asked to leave for the day and if it's consistently an issue, to no longer bring children with them to serve.

What Can I Expect?

Do I Have to be a Christian?

No, you do not have to be a Christian in order to serve with us. But, we are a Christian organization that represents 30 different Jesus loving churches in Northern Colorado.

Our heart is to provide a space where anyone is able to encounter Jesus, if they so choose and ask you respect our faith and the 30 Church partners that make the Resource Center possible.

Our statement of service is listed at the bottom of the page. As long as you can agree to that statement, you can serve with us.

*A personal relationship with Jesus is required for our care ministries such as 68 Cares, Talents, etc.

How Do I Learn More?

That's great! We want to offer you this opportunity by inviting you to attend a SERVE Track. At this SERVE Track, you will learn why we do what we do and the ministries we offer. You will have the opportunity to meet each of the ministry leaders and get connected/begin serving with your favorite ministry right away!

SERVE 6.8 is a partnership of churches who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. We respect everyone’s personal beliefs and wish to provide space for people to encounter Jesus if they so choose. We therefore ask, that whatever your personal beliefs, you respect the beliefs and the mission of the churches who make this space possible.
